How a project runs
The reason software projects fail is almost never the code. It's that nobody agreed what "finished" meant.

I start by listening.
You tell me what the business needs to do. I don't arrive with a template and a preferred answer.

Then a needs assessment, before anything gets built.
I work with you to write down what the software has to do — and what it doesn't. You get that document before any code exists.

A demo, and a decision.
You see it running and working. Then you decide whether to carry on — this is the point where you can stop.
What it costs
I can provide a quote based on the scope of the project.
What I can tell you is this: you pay nothing until you sign off on the demo.
After the demo, you decide whether it's worth carrying on. If it isn't, that's where it ends and you've paid nothing.
If it is, I charge a percentage of the project cost and we keep going.
If I don't finish, you get back what you paid.
And if you don't like the finished product, you can cancel. You're out only what you paid after the demo.
Who you're actually working with
I own Airhart Works and I do the work myself. When you email, I'm the one who reads it, and I'm the one who replies.
No account manager, no handoff to someone junior after you sign, and nobody on your project who has to be brought up to speed.
What you own at the end

You own everything.
At handover it's yours — not a licence to use what I built, the thing itself.

Support afterwards is optional.
If you want me to keep looking after it, we can arrange that when the project ends. If you'd rather take it in-house or hand it to someone else, that's the default.

It comes with written documentation.
Handed over with everything else. If you bring in another developer later, they get what I wrote down.

Another developer can pick it up.
If you ever want to replace me, you shouldn't need to ask first. And if they have questions, I'll answer them.
This page is the same argument: markup, styles and behaviour in one file, no build step, no framework, and nothing loaded from anyone else's server. It still works with JavaScript switched off. You're welcome to read the source before you email me.
